Flood and Drain
Flood and Drain kits are a very cost effective and easy way to grow hydroponically. The rootzone of the plants is simply flooded with a pH adjusted nutrient and water mix, and then drained away. The flood and drain cycle is done periodically using a pump and a timer. Nutrient use is monitored, and reservoirs are topped up with water or nutrient mix accordingly.
