Jiffy Disc 36mm

The 36mm Jiffy has a pH of 5.2 and is ideal for propagating natives from seed. As well as having a more suitable pH for natives, the 36mm Jiffy disc expands to a greater height than the Jiffy 42mm making it a better choice for native seedlings. Jiffy's are made of compressed peat and when hydrated expand to about three times their size. One of the main benefits of using a Jiffy disc is that the root system is contained within the disc itself thus making it less likely that the roots will be disturbed in the transplant process. A tray is also available that supports 30 of these discs.
