MS1000BU

The Sylvania Super MS1000BU is designed for use with Metal Halide Ballasts and 'Base Up' reflectors such as 'China Hats' and 'Deep Bowls'. It should only be burnt vertically.
This lamp has a CRI (Colour Rendering Index)of 65 and a lumen output of 120000, making it one of the brightest HID lamps on the market. The CRI is an indication of how close the lamp is to natural light (ie. Sunlight). In this case a CRI of 65 means that the lamp is 65% close to natural light.
Metal Halide lamps, in general, are popular because they emit less heat than HPS Lamps and are therefore easier to work with in a greenhouse or indoor garden environment.
The MS1000BU is a lamp suited to larger growing areas.
